When you peel open the foil packaging, you’ll find a black card sitting on top of the Polaroid film pack. This dark slide is there to protect the film from light exposure during loading and unloading.

The content on the dark slide differs between 600 film and i-Type film.

Each one usually features a few Polaroid shooting tips or short messages — it’s worth taking a moment to notice them when you come across one.
